As a Head of Marketing at Buyfood.ch, one will be expected to develop marketing strategy by studying economic indicators; tracking changes in supply and demand; identifying customers and their current and future needs; monitoring the competition.
Supervising the department and providing guidance and feedback to other marketing professionals. Producing ideas for promotional events or activities and organizing them efficiently

Your mission:

  • Implementation and ensure of the marketing strategy
  • Developing a brand strategy
  • Prepare and set annual marketing budget and goals
  • Maintain calendar of events such as webinars, conferences and thought leadership contributions
  • Streamline strategically the day-to-day activities of the marketing team and marketing manager. Monitor progress and submit performance reports
  • Review changes to the market, consumer trends and the activities of competitors, adjusting the marketing plan if necessary
  • Provide tools and materials to enable the sales team to function effectively
  • Manage and refine the organisation’s social media presence
  • Manage and measure marketing campaign costs
  • Utilise data for marketing campaigns, interrogating the organisation’s databases and external data
  • With other senior executives, identify new business opportunities
  • Negotiate with media agencies and secure agreements on the production of promotional materials.


  • Proven experience as Marketing Director
  • Excellent leadership and organizing skills
  • Analytical and creative thinking
  • Exquisite communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge incurrent and online marketing techniques and best practices
  • Knowledge of web analytics (e.g. Google Analytics, WebTrends etc.) and Google Adwords
  • Professional chartered marketer (CIM) is an added value.
  • BSc/BA in business administration, marketing and communications or relevant field
