As a Head of Sales, the person’s responsibilities at Buyfood.ch include developing key growth sales strategies, tactics and action plans. Successful execution of these strategies is required to achieve your financial targets. Sales director duties will include hitting annual targets, building relationships and understanding customer trends. The person will develop and execute strategic plan to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base.
The role is data-driven that requires commercial acumen and a deep understanding of the consumer base, the competitive market, and an ability to analyze sales department performance.

Your mission:

  • Developing strategy, tactics, sales plans and profit targets
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships
  • Identifying and reporting on business opportunities in target markets
  • Representing the business at conferences, trade fairs and networking events
  • Maximising new business development opportunities
  • Overseeing a sales team
  • Partner with customers to understand their business needs and objectives
  • Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations
  • Understand category-specific landscapes and trends
  • Reporting on forces that shift tactical budgets and strategic direction of accounts
  • Maintains national sales staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Eligibility:

  • Proven experience as Marketing Director
  • Excellent leadership and organizing skills
  • Analytical and creative thinking
  • Exquisite communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge incurrent and online marketing techniques and best practices
  • Knowledge of web analytics (e.g. Google Analytics, WebTrends etc.) and Google Adwords
  • Professional chartered marketer (CIM) is an added value.
  • BSc/BA in business administration, marketing and communications or relevant field
